In the mid-1990s, Phillip Randall and Dr. Terry Turner discussed the vision of starting a school. At the time, the Mesquite Friendship Christian Academy (MFCA) was simply a vision. In the summer of 2013, Dr. Turner and Phillip Randall set a plan in motion to make the MFCA more than a vision. In January of 2014, MFCA opened its doors with the Little Tugboats Learning Academy child care center. The Mesquite Friendship Christian Academy started with 16 students in August of 2014. By the end of the year, MFCA had 20 students in its inargual class.
Renovations to the new MFCA building began in December of 2014. These renovations were completed in August 2015 with more renovations planned. August 24th saw the arrival of new students. The Fall 2015 semester began with 28 students. As MFCA continues to grow, we pray that God allows the school to be an example in the church and the community.
